Mike Bliss NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Advance:
Lowe's Motor Speedway

Tuesday, May 12, 2009 - PART-TIME – This weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway will be the first time the Key Motorsports No. 40 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Silverado hits the track since Curtis Key's announcement that the team's Truck program would be scaled back to part-time. Key will focus on a full-time NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule this year, while running only selected NCWTS races for the remainder of the season.

SPONSORSHIP UPDATE – This weekend the No. 40 Silverado will be sponsored by the team’s NNS sponsor StopRepairBills.com, as well as Westerman Companies, Raymond Key Commercial Contractors, and Curtis Key Plumbing.

UNFAMILIAR TERRITORY – Former Camping World Truck Series champion Mike Bliss has made only two starts at Lowe's Motor Speedway in the six years the NCWTS has raced in Charlotte, but that's no reason to be concerned. Bliss scored a 6th place finish in his last start at the track, and has found a great deal of success on other intermediate tracks on the circuit.

CHASSIS INFO – Key Motorsports will utilize chassis #007 this weekend at Lowe's Motor Speedway. This chassis was raced most recently by Mike Bliss at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, where Bliss scored an 8th place finish.

NASCAR DAY – This Friday's race will fall on the 6th annual NASCAR Day. Funds raised via commemorative NASCAR Day lapel pin sales, a SIRIUS radiothon, and other special events will benefit the NASCAR Foundation, which was created to combine several NASCAR-supported non-profit organizations under one fundraising initiative. In six years, the NASCAR foundation has raised over five million dollars to benefit children’s causes, animal welfare and rescue, nature conservancy and more.
