Wimmer Claims Top-15 Finish At Phoenix, Key Motorsports
Moves Up In Owner Points

Scott Wimmer and the #40 Key Motorsports team once again came from back in the field to score a top 15 finish in the Able Body Labor 200 NASCAR Nationwide Series race Saturday afternoon at the Phoenix International Raceway. Key Motorsports gained one spot in owner points as a result of the Phoenix effort and now occupy the 21st position in the 2009 Nationwide Series owner point standings.

Carrying the colors of sponsor StopRepairBills.com, Wimmer qualified the Key Motorsports Chevrolet 31st for the Able Body Labor 200 after posting the ninth fastest lap in final practice. Wimmer stood on the gas at the drop of the green, moving the #40 up to the 21st position in the initial 10 laps of the 200 lap event.

"This StopRepairBills.com/Key Motorsports Chevrolet was pretty good today," Wimmer said. "We didn't have such a great qualifying lap and started back in the field, the crew did a great job and we just kept digging all day. This team works good together, they are really coming along and we are getting consistent results."

Wimmer continued to move up through the field, keeping the Key Motorsports #40 in the top 15 for the last half of the race, crossing the finish line 15th and on the lead lap in the Able Body Labor 200.

"The whole team did a good job here in Phoenix," crew chief Gary Showalter said. "Scott and the crew all worked together today and we were able to have another consistent finish."

Scott Wimmer will be behind the wheel of the Key Motorsports Chevrolet for this weekends season finale at Homestead.
