Goodwill Gesture Brings Bad Boy Buggies And
Buck Commander Back To Key Motorsports
Bad Boy Buggies, the Mississippi based manufacturer of the world's first dual motor, all electric 4 wheel drive vehicle, will along with associate Buck Commander again be featured on the #40 Key Motorsports Chevrolet with driver Mike Bliss in Saturday's Stater Brothers 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series event at California's
Auto Club Speedway. Bad Boy Buggies and Buck Commander teamed up to sponsor Key Motorsports in the season opener last week at Daytona.
The Key Motorsports team suffered a disappointing Daytona weekend after Bliss was involved in a lap seven incident that sent the Bad Boy Buggies/Buck Commander Chevrolet to the garage for the day.
In a goodwill gesture on behalf of the #40 team, Key Motorsports president Curtis Key has invited Bad Boy Buggies and Buck Commander back for the race in California this weekend.
"We appreciate Bad Boy Buggies and Buck Commander coming on board with us last weekend at Daytona, we put forth our best effort to do a good job for them and unfortunately our day ended early," said Curtis Key. "Although it was a racing accident that sent us to the garage, we didn't feel they received
their moneys worth at Daytona and we want to see to it that they get what they paid for. We are pleased to have Bad Boy Buggies and Buck Commander on the car at California and hope to provide a better result for them this week."
Mike Bliss, who will drive the Bad Boy Buggies/Buck Commander Chevrolet at California, believes it is the right thing for the team to do.
"I am glad to hear Bad Boy Buggies and Buck Commander will back with us at California," Bliss said. "What happened at Daytona just couldn't have been avoided, it was a shame it was so early in the race. We are looking forward to having a better run for our sponsors this week in California."
