POLLO TROPICAL RESTAURANTS BECOME HOMESTEAD PARTNER
FOR #40 KEY MOTORSPORTS CHEVROLET SILVERADO ENTRY
MOORESVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA (November 9, 2007) – Pollo Tropical, a chain of popular quick service family restaurants in Florida and New Jersey and with franchised locations in Puerto Rico, is partnering with Key Motorsports for the upcoming Ford 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday, November 16.
The 82-store chain that features fresh, tropical menu selections of chicken, ribs and pork, is based in Miami and is a division of the Carrols Corporation, one of America’s largest restaurant groups. The Carrols Corporation is headquartered in Syracuse, New York.
The diversified Pollo Tropical menu includes complete platters, sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts. Platters are available for lovers of chicken, pork, beef and rice in individual and family portions and there are several selections for those with big appetites including vegetarian offerings.
72 of the Pollo Tropical locations are located throughout Florida but with a large concentration in south Florida. Restaurants combine high quality, distinctive menu items in an inviting tropical setting and the convenience of fast service to appeal to its customers.
The Pollo Tropical logo will be displayed on the #40 Curtis Key Plumbing Chevrolet in the Homestead event and stores will feature promotions to generate interest amongst customers for the final race of the 2007 NCTS season. This is the company’s first venture into NASCAR racing.
Veteran Chad Chaffin will drive the Curtis Key Plumbing/Pollo Tropical Chevrolet race truck in the Homestead-Miami event that will be televised live by the SPEED Channel beginning at 7:30 p.m.
